At the heart of effective counseling is a connection between the counselor and client. I strive to build that connection with you by providing a safe and affirming space where you feel validated, empowered, and comfortable sharing your story during your healing process. Whether you are experiencing daily life stressors, mood instability, or trauma, we can work together towards developing coping strategies, managing stress, and healing emotional wounds sustained over time.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Michigan, and I received my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Michigan University. My experience has been in inpatient hospitalization, school-based programs, and outpatient settings. My approach is based in respect and compassion, while drawing on a variety of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and mindfulness-based practices. I primarily work with adolescents and adults, marginalized communities, and those struggling with life transitions, trauma, depression, anxiety, and a variety of other concerns.

Beginning the healing process can feel overwhelming, but it is a process that is worthwhile. I welcome you to meet with me so that we can work collaboratively to help you grow from your struggles and find the best version of yourself.
