Hi! I’m Grace Hall Shannon and Teen & Young Adult Mental Health is my top priority. I value the sense of belonging, self-esteem, and resilience. When working with you, we will be able to accomplish and establish important needs/wants for the betterment of your development. By using empathetic approaches and solution-focused techniques, we will be able to achieve healthy emotional, mental, and physical goals, together. I work with Teens and Young Adults; ages 14-24 years old.
I am trained in Brainspotting Phase 1 and Reiki 1 as of 2025. In 2024, I graduated with my Masters degree in Social Work with a focus on Holistic Health and Wellness from Western Michigan University. In 2022, I received my Bachelors degree in Behavioral Science Psychology.
I have much experience working within non-profit organizations, mental health facilities, school settings, and KRESA. Through these experiences, I have been able to utilize Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness based practices, and behavior management skills that achieve both professional and personal goals.
Understanding the importance of brain-body connections is essential throughout personal growth. Emotions and feelings can be hard to explain, but together, we will be able to understand and focus on the “why” and “what” factors behind them.
I look forward to helping you grow to your fullest potential, one session at a time.
